In order not to bore you, we are going to state from the outset the fact that Charles Darwin was and remains an extremely controversial figure. Not so much because of the way he was (he was a perfectly normal person, if you’re wondering), but because of what he left behind…namely, the theory of evolution.

It seems that this was enough for Darwin to be associated with more and more new myths, all kinds of fictional stories, which turned him into a character that some loved and others hated. Well, today we will talk about these myths, trying to dispel them.

Was Darwin really the “father of the theory of evolution”? Was he the first to say that? Was Charles Darwin the person who first talked about natural selection or survival of the fittest? Was Darwin the one who said that man descended from apes? Or what do you say about the case when on his deathbed he would have renounced everything he wrote?

We answer all these questions in today’s podcast, which is obviously about naturalist Charles Robert Darwin and his work.
