A partial solar eclipse was also visible from Romania around noon on Tuesday. HotNews.ro made a short film period of time with a solar eclipse, as seen from the streets of the center of the capital.

In Bucharest, the eclipse began around 12:26 p.m. and reached its maximum at 1:38 p.m., when the lunar disc covered almost 38% of the sun.

The eclipse ended around 2:50 p.m.

The sky in the capital was only partially clear, with clouds that could not completely block the sun, so the phenomenon could be observed by enthusiasts.

The whole phenomenon could be observed from the entire territory of our country, the coverage of the Sun was from 33 to 44%. The areas where coverage was highest were the north-eastern countries, where coverage was 44%.

This partial eclipse could be seen from Europe, northeast Africa and Asia. The maximum eclipse occurred somewhere over central Russia, where the Sun was covered by 82%.

The phenomenon started at 8:58 GMT in Iceland and ended in India at 1:02 PM GMT, crossing Europe, Northeast Africa and the Middle East.
