If in the match of the round they won with a difference of six goals (32-26), then in response the “Breilensians” won on the edge, scored 26-25 and qualified for the first four teams of the Europa League.

The top scorers for Dunărea Brăila were Ježić with eight goals and Da Rocha with six.

The day before, Gloria Bistrica managed to make it to the semi-finals, after 32-30 and 27-25 with the Hungarians from Mošonmagyaróvár.

The other two teams that have qualified for the Final Four are the French from Nantes and the Norwegian teams from Storhamar.

The final tournament of the European Handball League among women will be held in Austria in Graz on May 11-12, and the champion will be Ikast Handbold.
