Svyatek, Kerber and Wozniacki in the 1/8 finals of Indian Wells-2024

Svyatek scored another bagel (no set won to zero), the WTA leader passed Linda Noskova without emotion, the score 6-4, 6-0.

It was the athlete from the Czech Republic (19 years old) who sent Iga home from the Australian Open earlier this year, knocking her out in the third round.

Three-time Grand Slam winner Angie Kerber also reached the round of 16 in California. Having recently returned to the court after becoming a mother, the German outlasted Veronika Kudermetova, the 19th seed, 6-4, 7-5.

Players such as Caroline Wozniacki (6-2, 4-6, 6-0 with Katy Volynets), Anastasia Potapova, Jasmine Paolini or Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova also reached the last eight.
