Manchester City and Real Madrid advanced to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League after beating FC Copenhagen (6-2 on aggregate) and RB Leipzig (2-1 on aggregate) respectively.

Manchester City – FC Copenhagen 3-1

Manchester City confirmed their tour win with an easy win at the Etihad Stadium against FC Copenhagen.

Taking eighth place in the group with Munich “Bavaria”, “Manchester United” and “Galatasaray”, the Danes could not make a new surprise and stopped at the first stage of elimination.

In the match in England, Akanji opened the score after only 5 minutes, and Julián Álvarez increased the advantage of the “citizens” after 4 minutes.

The visitors reduced the difference thanks to Elyunussi (min. 29), but City set the final score thanks to Erling Haaland (min. 45+3).

Real Madrid – RB Leipzig 1-1
