Bayern Munich is having a modest season in all competitions.
Thomas Tuchel’s side were knocked out of the German Cup by Saarbrücken and currently sit second in the Bundesliga behind Bayer Leverkusen.
In addition, Bayern lost the first leg of their UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie against Lazio (1-0) and Fabrizio Romano says the German coach could be sacked before the end of the season.
The Bavarians announced a few weeks ago that Tuchel would leave at the end of the current season, regardless of results, but now there is a new scenario in which he will be released immediately if Bayern can’t get past Lazio in the UEFA Champions League.
