​Cian Emmers has not played for Rapid since the beginning of October 2023, but Giulio’s group announced the extension of the contract with the Belgian footballer.

Xian Emmers, in Rapid until summer 2025

Emmers recently returned to practice after tearing a tendon in his right big toe and forgoing surgery. He signed a contract until 2025.

“Our Belgian’s excellent development has earned him the activation of an extension clause by the club, so Xi’an will be with us until the summer of 2025,” read a statement from the Rapid club.

Emmers later moved to Genk (junior), Inter, Cremonese, Wasland-Beveren, Almere City and Roda.
