The main favorite of the tournament from the United Arab Emirates Daniil Medvedev (4 ATP) overcame the Italian Lorenzo Sonego in three sets with a score of 3-6, 6-3, 6-3.

Andriy Rublev had less work to do to reach the quarters, defeating France’s Arthur Cazo in just two sets, 6-4, 6-4.

Instead, this year’s breakout Czech Jakub Mensik left the competition due to medical problems in the match against Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokin.

The Dubai Tennis Championships is an ATP 500 tournament that will be held from February 26 to March 2. The game is played on a hard surface and the total prize pool is $2,941,785. The champion of the title is Daniil Medvedev.
