Mirča Rednić was taken to the hospital after he felt unwell during Monday’s UTA Arad training session. Just six months ago, the Romanian coach suffered a heart attack.
UTA won 1-0 at FC Voluntari, less than 48 hours after Mircea Rednik was hospitalized after suffering an injury during training for the Romanian first league team.
According to Arad Online, Rednik only partially participated in Monday’s training session after falling ill.
“He fainted and immediately sought help from the medical staff. At that point it was decided that Puriul should be taken to the district hospital for further examination,” the quoted source said.
It will be recalled that a 61-year-old technician suffered a heart attack six months ago. We are talking about August 2023, after the match against FCSB. A stent was installed in the technician, and he spent a week in the hospital.
At the moment, Mircea Rednik is feeling well, he is not in danger, the source said.
