Inter moved one step closer to the Italian title after the Milan side thrashed Salernitana 4-0 in the 25th round of Serie A.

Inter scored three times in the first half (Thuram ’17, Martinez ’19 and Dumfries ’40) and set up the final score thanks to Arnautovic (’90).

The Austrian striker also had a goal disallowed for offside (’79).

The team coached by Simone Inzaghi has won eight in a row in 2024 (six in Serie A and two in the Italian Super Cup) and is top of the league table (63 points, ten points ahead of Juventus). Instead, Salernitana remains in the last position (13 points).
