Inter scored three times in the first half (Thuram ’17, Martinez ’19 and Dumfries ’40) and set up the final score thanks to Arnautovic (’90).

The Austrian striker also had a goal disallowed for offside (’79).

The team coached by Simone Inzaghi has won eight in a row in 2024 (six in Serie A and two in the Italian Super Cup) and is top of the league table (63 points, ten points ahead of Juventus). Instead, Salernitana remains in the last position (13 points).
