Sorana Kirstea was defeated by Daria Kasatkina in the quarters in Abu Dhabi

After two thrilling victories, Sorana Kirstea is finally eliminated in the quarterfinals of the WTA tournament in Abu Dhabi.

The player, ranked 26th in the WTA rankings, was defeated in two sets by Daria Kasatkina (14th WTA), in a match that the Russian finished in one hour and 15 minutes.

Kasatkina will face Beatrice Haddad Maia (13 WTA) in the semifinals, who defeated Ons Jabert (6 WTA) in the quarterfinals with a score of 6-3, 6-4.
