Lando Norris extended his contract with McLaren for several years

In February 2022, the British pilot signed a four-year deal that was due to expire at the end of 2025.

The deal signed on Friday will see Lando Norris remain with the team beyond the end of this term, building on the strong relationship established during six years at McLaren Racing, according to the official website.

In 2023, Landau had his best season to date, scoring 205 points to finish sixth in the F1 drivers’ standings.

The 24-year-old recently passed the 100-race mark, finishing second on six occasions the previous season and becoming the first McLaren driver to finish on the podium at the British Grand Prix in 13 years.

Norris also finished third at the Qatar Grand Prix and finished on the podium twice in the sprint races.

Announcing the extension of the contract with Lando Norris, McLaren did not specify its term.
