Rafael Nadal is on the list of participants from ATP Doha
22-time Grand Slam winner Rafa returned after a year’s absence (due to a hip problem) but was injured again in a match loss to Jordan Thompson.
Nadal (37 years old) said that he received a micro-tear of a muscle, but he seems to have recovered and was included in the list of participants of the Qatar Open (February 19-24).
The Spaniard is currently ranked 446th in the world and won the tournament in Doha in 2014 (after the final with Gael Monfils). Daniil Medvedev (3 ATP), Andriy Rublev (5 ATP) and Andy Murray will also take part in the “ATP 250” competition.
