Denys Alibek is expected to return to Mayak.

Denys Alibek was one of the key players of Mayak in the previous season, when the seaside team became the champion.

The 33-year-old striker scored 14 goals and provided 8 assists in 31 appearances that season, but he signed for Muaither SC in the summer of 2023.

At the time, Alibek said the only team he would return to in the Romanian Super League was Farul, and now president Gique Popescu believes the time is right for him to return.

“We said it before and we say it now when we welcome Denis with open arms. They just have to want to take that step.

He knows how important the time spent at the Beacon is, he knows how important the training under Hagi’s command is.

It’s just Alibek’s choice. If he decides to come to us, we welcome him with open arms.” – he said, reports Digi Sport.
