Rapid Bucharest lost again in the Champions League groups in women’s handball, they controlled the game until the end. The French women from Metz won with a score of 34-31.

Rapid Bucharest – Metz 31-34 (18-16), in the groups of the Champions League

Rapid lost its third match in a row in Group B of the Women’s Handball Champions League.

Without Bukeski, Polman, Gonzalez and Grozav, David Ginesti Montes’ wards controlled the first half and had a two-goal lead at halftime (18-16).

With the Sala Polivalente once again sold out, Rapid’s game broke down midway through the second half and the end belonged to the French, who scored four times in the final minutes without conceding a goal.

With this result, Giulestene remains in seventh position in Group B with 7 points, one less than the last team to qualify for the playoffs.

In the next game of the Champions League, Rapid will travel to Denmark in a week to face Herning-Ikast.
