
​Poland passed the semifinals of the United Cup without emotions (3-0 against China), and Iga Sviatek won another bright victory in the competition that replaces the former Hopman Cup.

Iga Sviatek, the third clean win at the United Cup – Poland, in the semi-finals
The match between Poland and China started with a match between Hubert Gurkach and Zhizhen Zhang. The European won after an hour and 23 minutes of play with a score of 6-3, 6-4.
Among the women, Iga Sviatek showed new tennis and conceded only five games in the match against Qinwen Zheng (14 WTA). The leader of the world hierarchy needed an hour and 34 minutes to win 6-2, 6-3.
In the first singles matches of the United Cup, Sviatek defeated the Brazilian Beatrice Haddad Maya (6-2, 6-2) and the Iberian Sara Sorribes Tormo (6-2, 6-1).
Poland also won mixed doubles with Katarzyna Pieter/Jan Zielinski 6-3, 5-7, 10-7 against Xiaodi Yu/Fajing Sun.
Poland will fight for a place in the grand final against the winner of France and Norway.
