Borja Valle was announced as a super transfer in the summer of 2023 to the Rapids, but after just 19 games in the white and cherry jersey, the two sides have come to the conclusion that they must part ways.

Borja Valle signed a contract with Ponferradine

In July 2023, Borja Valle was transferred to Giulesti on a free transfer and Rapid management were convinced that his transfer was a sensational move for the Romanian Superliga level.

But, unfortunately, the 31-year-old Spaniard, who also moved to Dynamo, did not impress Rapid, and after 19 matches it was decided to peacefully terminate the contractual relationship between the two parties.

A goal and 3 assists are the successes of Borja Valle in Rapid.

The Iberian was not without a team for a short time and in early 2024 he signed a contract with Ponferrada, a team from the third division of Spain, where he grew up as a footballer.

In his career, Borja Valle played for such teams as Celta Vigo B, Ourense, Real Oviedo, Deportivo La Coruña, Elche, Dynamo, Chor Faccan, Alcorcon and Cartagena.

He signed a contract until the end of the current season.

“Thank you Rapid for your understanding, acceptance and help in all you can. Undoubtedly, it was the most beautiful adventure in my career.

I have to say goodbye because I know I won’t be completely gone, a part of me stays with you, helping you reach that beautiful goal we set together.

Thank you to all the members of the club and my teammates for the way you have been, I can only thank you a thousand times for every second I have been a part of this club.

I’m still close to the Rapidist family.” – said Borja Valle after parting with Rapid.
