Darius Olaru close to a move to Monza in Serie A

Having scored ten goals in 21 Super League games this season, Darius Olaru is in the prime of his career and a move abroad is closer than ever.

Italian media have reported that the Romanian international was also being watched during the game against Hermannstadt, when he scored twice, and Monza are close to signing him.

Galliani is preparing the first move of the mercato winter, according to reports from the former AC Milan boss, and his target is Romanian midfielder Darius Olaru, who is currently at FCSB.

Monza emissaries watched him in the stands and he scored a brace.

Olaru has been in Italy and the transfer has a good chance of going through as the player has a release clause of €5 million.

FCSB would make a great deal by paying Gaz Metan €600,000 for the player,” writes Tuttomercato24.

The 25-year-old FCSB captain is valued at €6.5 million by Transfermarkt.
