Yanis says they have been unlucky in previous matches and is confident Romania can progress to the eighth round of EURO 2024.

“I feel like we have a lot of talent and I honestly think we haven’t reached our full potential yet. I think Europe doesn’t know us either, but I feel and hope that it will be like that next summer.

We will continue in the same way, with hard work and modesty, with the unity and cohesion of the group, and that is how we will manage to pass the groups. In the summer, we will enter the arena of European football and we will have to prove our ability.

A lot has been said, but the group was conquered by talent. You can’t beat Switzerland without talent, you can’t beat Israel without talent, you can’t beat Switzerland at home without talent.

But at the same time, this qualification was only a stepping stone. We did it, but we still have a lot to show. We must not abandon the values ​​that brought us to the EURO. In fact, we have to add others, and the leaders in the dressing room, together with Mister (coach Edi Iordenescu – no), we have to take care and keep everything we have done well.
