33-year-old Dinko Trebotich admitted that he likes living in Romania, in Buzeu, where he plays for the local team, with which he has been promoted for the second year in a row. The Croatian footballer claims that the lifestyle here and in his native country have a lot in common.
“I have seen many cities in Romania, besides the one where I live and work. You have other special cities, Bucharest, Brasov, Iasi.
I met good people, just like in Croatia. I feel at home here. And think that I have been, I have lived in many places in this great world.
I did not think that it would be like this, let it be such a strong connection. The bottom line is that we do not have common ancestors, we do not have a history that connects us. However, we are close.
As a lifestyle, as a way of thinking about life, as things we do every day,” Dinko explained in an interview with GSP.ro.
“Oh my god, they are so relaxed! They are lively people, you make friends easily. They have the Balkan spirit to cope with life, but also with everyday problems,” said the Croatian footballer.
