Last season’s Saudi Arabian champions Al Ittihad advanced to the quarter-finals of the Club World Cup after beating New Zealand’s Auckland City 3-0.

This year’s Club World Cup kicked off with Saudi Arabia’s Al Ittihad beating Auckland City.

Romarinho opened the scoring in the 29th minute, and stars Kante and Benzema equalized the final score before half-time.

In the quarter-finals, “Al-Ittihad” will meet with “Al-Ahly” of Egypt, the winner of the African Champions League.

Now the 20th Club World Cup will be held from December 12 to 22, 2023 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The winner of the last tournament was Real Madrid.
