The Romanian women’s handball team got to know all their opponents in the main group of the World Cup on Monday, after Japan’s convincing victory over Iran with a score of 42-10.

Romania, match with Germany, Poland and Japan in the main group of the Women’s Handball Championship

The victory over Serbia ensured the three-color entry into the main group of the European Women’s Handball Championship, where they will play with the previous group F.

While Germany and Poland have already qualified after the first two games, Japan also secured their place with a 42-10 (20-3) win over Iran.

On Tuesday at 21:30, Romania will face Denmark, one of the hosts and the main favourite. The stakes for the match are high, each team will advance to the main group with points accumulated in the company of other qualified teams.
