Manchester United disappointed their fans again, only being held to a 3-3 draw by Galatasaray after taking a two-goal lead into the fifth group stage of the Champions League.

Manchester United were eliminated from the Champions League

Erik ten Haag’s men got off to a great start in Istanbul. Harnacho in the 11th minute and Bruno Fernandes seven minutes later ensured a convincing advantage.

In the 29th minute, Ziyech reduced the deficit, and in the 55th minute, McTominay increased Manchester United’s advantage again.

Galatasaray did not give up, and the final successes signed by the same Ziech and Aktürkoglu brought a draw, which significantly reduces the chances of the “devils” to reach the 1/8 finals.

United are bottom of Group A and need to beat Bayern Munich (already qualified) as well as Galatasaray and FC Copenhagen in the last leg to draw.
