
American star Mikaela Shiffrin scored her 90th career victory on Sunday in the women’s slalom in Killington, USA, setting a new Alpine Skiing World Cup record.

Shiffrin, a five-time winner of the big Crystal Globe, won a new luxurious match with her rival from Slovakia, Petra Vlgova, whom she beat with a score of 33/100 based on the results of two stages of the test. The Swiss Wendy Holdener was in the third position in 1 second 37/100.
On her own spectators, the American skier won her second victory this season after a two-week slalom in Levi (Finland).

Last season, she broke legendary Swedish skier Ingemar Stenmark’s record for most Alpine Ski World Cup wins (86) and is now on track for 100 wins at just 28 years old.
