Simone Inzaghi’s side were in control at the end of the match when Inter Milan beat Roma on Sunday night.

The hosts controlled the game from end to end and even in the first half missed big opportunities to open the scoring.

In the second half, Inter was finally able to break through through Frenchman Marcus Thuram, who beat Rui Patricio in the 81st minute.

The final score is 1-0 and Inter are back at the top of Serie A with 25 points. Roma remains in 8th place with 14 points.
