Andre Onan was not embarrassed by the smiley that Alejandro Garnacho used
Garnacho, 19, added two gorilla emoticons to the post and the FA investigated the situation and contacted the Argentinian.
Onana intervened and explained that he was not bothered by his colleague’s post.
“The world cannot choose why to offend me or not. I know exactly what Alejandro Garnacho meant: power, power. The matter should not go further than this” – Andre Onana.
Garnacho’s post could be interpreted as racist and he could be sanctioned by the FA, even if he had no intention of doing so.
