Everton chairman Bill Kenwright died on Tuesday at the age of 78.

Two weeks ago, he underwent an operation to remove a tumor from his liver

Bill Kenwright was a theater and film producer, and from 1989 he was a member of the board of directors of the Goodison Park team.

In 2004, he assumed the position of president.

“Everton Football Club is in mourning following the death of chairman Bill Kenwright CBE, who died last night aged 78, surrounded by family and loved ones”. – says the club’s official press release.
