CFR Cluj and Ocelul conclude the 13th stage of the Super League with a match in which the hosts start with the first chances to win, but the visitors, although they are a new team, have already shown that they are very difficult to beat.

CFR Cluj is in 2nd place with 26 points and comes after a series of three wins, a draw and a loss in the last five games of the championship, and in the previous stage it ended in a draw, away from “Dynamo” 1 score -1 (three days ago earlier he won the arrears against Sepsi, at home, score 3-0).

The team coached by Andrea Mandorlini also made their debut in the Romanian Cup, a competition in which they won their first match in Group B, 3-0 away to Oleksandra (Ligue 2).

CFR Cluj is the leader in the ranking of games played at home this season with five wins and a draw (goal difference 12-2), and the team’s top scorer is Philippe Otele, who has five successes in the Superliga. As a matter of fact, the Transylvanians recorded their only losses of the season in Bucharest, 0:1 against FCSB and 1:3 against Rapid, respectively.

“Ocellul is a team that many years ago was the champion of Romania, I know that Dorinel Munteanu is a very good coach. Ocellul had a good season, but we are KFR Cluj and we will give everything to win,” said Andrea Mandorlini.

“Ocelul” is in 10th place with 14 points, and in the last five games of the Super League, they have won two, drawn two and lost one, and in the previous stage they lost at home to the champion “Farul” with a score of 0-1 (the first defeat after dev seven matches in the championship).

The team coached by Dorinel Munteanu has been doing well in the Romanian Cup, where after going through the play-offs against FC Bacau (Ligue 3) with a 3-1 away goal, they also won their first match in Group C, scoring 4-1 this field of those from Zalău (League 3).

Ocellul are unbeaten away from home this season with one win and four draws, while Alexandru Pop is the team’s top scorer with five goals in the Super League. It should be noted that two defeats in the championship fell to “Galatz”, 0-2 against FCSB and 0-1 against Farul.

“We have a very difficult match against the multiple champions of Romania, but we are going to take our chance. I’m sure that CFR Cluj will also have a very difficult match with us. We want points, we are on a good path,” said Dorinel Munteanu.

The two teams last met each other in the 2014-2015 league season, when CFR Cluj won both legs against Ocellul, 1-0 in the first leg away and 1-0 in the second leg at home.

Superbet offers a coefficient of 1.42 on prediction 1: victory of the home team in the match CFR Cluj – Ocellul.
