Formula 1 officials have announced that Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) and Charles Leclerc (Scuderia Ferrari) are disqualified from the United States Grand Prix in Formula 1.
Hamilton finished second at the track in Austin, while Leclerc finished sixth. The single-seaters of both did not pass inspection after the race at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin.
The stewards imposed the standard penalty (disqualification) after both teams admitted that the measurements taken by the FIA were correct.
