Ronnie O’Sullivan defeated Liu Haotian in the quarter-finals of the Wuhan Open

Having lost a week ago to Zhang And (at the English Open), Ronnie struggled in the first half of the match against Haotian, and the Chinese led 4-0 at halftime.

O’Sullivan (seven-time world champion) won the first frame after returning to the table, but could not get back on the board.

In the semifinals, Liu Haotian (25 years old) will meet the winner of the meeting between Mark Allen (3rd place) and Ali Carter (11th place).

Wu Yze (19 years old, 49th place) and Judd Trump (4th place) will compete in the other semi-final.
