In a video released by race organizers in China, the three-time Grand Slam finalist said she had injured her knee.

“I’m sorry to have to withdraw because my knee is not very good and I just want to say that I enjoyed my time here in Zhengzhou and I hope I can come back next time. Thanks for cheering me on and I hope to be back next year.” – Ons Zaber.
