The 32-year-old Bulgarian (former #3 ATP and 2017 Tour of Champions winner) played better and better and made three breaks by the end of the match.

Carlos could no longer press for a rematch, and Grigor won the match after two hours and 10 minutes of play with a score of 6-2, 6-4.
