With Kornel Papure as interim coach, the Oltenians opened the scoring after just 10 minutes thanks to youngster Marian Danciu, who followed up Mitrica’s cross from behind the goal.
The university continued to attack, and in the 36th minute, Aleksandra Kretsa doubled the lead, while Mitrice also provided an assist.
Four minutes later, Eduardo Florescu reduced the gap, finding himself at the goal of Popescu.
In the 70th minute, it was Jovan Marković’s turn to add his name to the list of scorers after Bank’s cross.
The final was incendiary, Olten players managed to score twice more. In the 89th minute, Ante Roguic shot the goalkeeper Dukan, so that a minute later, Aleksandru Mitrice was also present at the finish.
After this victory, the University of Craiova gains 21 points and temporarily rises to the second position in the ranking, four points behind FCSB.
