Simona Halep’s four-year suspension appears to have created a complete rift between the defenders of the player’s case, on the one hand, and Serena Williams’ family, on the other, who are reacting extremely strongly to learning of the ITIA’s verdict.

Serena Williams herself, the player who lost to Halep in the 2018 Wimbledon final, took a jab at her husband Alexis Ohanian to continue the trend against Simona on Twitter. In response, Ilie Nestase moved to serious accusations and said that the younger sister of the Williams family would have been caught doping and covered by the WTA.

That was not all! On Wednesday night, Alexandrou Ion Cyriac, son of former tennis player Ion Cyriac, shared some insightful messages on his Instastory account, all of which mentioned Serena Williams and her alleged ties to the world of doping.
