Hansi Flick has been sacked as Germany head coach after poor results in friendlies. Rudi Waller has been appointed on a temporary basis, but the former important player of Germany will sit on the bench of the first team of football for only one match.

Rudy Waller will not continue his performances in the German national team – He will be a selector for one match

The five-star friendly against France on Tuesday 12 September at 10pm, live on Digisport 2, will see Waller as Germany’s sole manager.

At a press conference, Rudy clarified, putting an end to speculation, that he will not remain on the bench of the first representative of his country.

“It will be one game for me. In such a situation, I am obliged to help.

It is important to find a coach who is engaged in this position with his heart and soul.

It will always be my aim, whoever he is, to help him in the same way I did with Hansie Flick, but with better results.” – Rudy Feller.

Waller will take over as sporting director of the DFB from February 1, 2023.
