Sorana Kirstja climbed four places after her impressive performance at the 2023 US Open (she reached the quarter-finals), and Romania has a total of four players in the world top 100.

Monday’s ranking officially records the disappearance of Simona Halep from the world ranking.

According to the official WTA website, the last in the world ranking is the athlete from Romania Ioana Zvonaru, 1386th place (with 3 points).

Simona Halep no longer exists in the world rankings, her WTA profile does not contain a WTA place.

Major changes in the WTA TOP-10: Sabalenka, the leader – Coco Gauff rose to 3rd place

After the end of the US Open, the WTA TOP-10 underwent drastic changes, almost all athletes at the top of the hierarchy changed places (with the exception of Elena Rybakina).

Aryna Sabalenko became the new world leader (for the first time), Iga Svyatek dropped to 2nd place, and Koko Gauf rose to 3rd place (the best place in her career).
