Andriy Rublev and Carlos Alcaraz reached the quarterfinals of the US Open on Monday.

Rublev (8 ATP) outlasted Jack Draper (123 ATP) in four sets in a match that lasted 2 hours and 46 minutes.

The eighth seed dropped one set (6-3) but won the other three 6-3, 6-3, 6-4.

Carlos Alcaraz also advanced to the quarters at Flushing Meadows.

The ATP leader had no problems with Matteo Arnaldi (61 ATP) and won in three sets with a score of 6-3, 6-3, 6-4 at the end of the match, which lasted one hour and 59 minutes. With this victory, Alcaraz reached 40 successes in Grand Slam tournaments.
