Eric Ten Hag did not include Jadon Sancho in Manchester United’s squad for the match against Arsenal, and the Dutch coach’s explanation bored the Englishman.

Jadon Sancho criticizes Erik ten Heg: “I was the scapegoat for a long time and it’s not fair”

Since the start of the 2023-2024 season, Jadon Sancho (23 years old) has played in three matches, each time as a substitute.

After Sunday’s 3-1 defeat at the Emirates Stadium, ten Haeg explained that he was not satisfied with the level shown by the player in training.

“I didn’t call him because of his performance in training. At Manchester United, you have to be at your best every day. There is a choice in the attack,” Ten Heg explained at the press conference.

The player remained unsatisfied with Heg’s ten explanations and criticized the coach on social networks.

“Don’t believe everything you read! I don’t accept people who say things that are completely untrue. I behaved very well in training this week. I think there are other reasons for this case, which I will not talk about.

I was a scapegoat for a long time, and this is unfair! All I want to do is play football with a smile on my face and contribute to my team.

I respect all the decisions made by the staff, I play with fantastic players and I am grateful for that, but I know that every week is a challenge. I will continue to fight for this club, regardless of the situation!” – Jadon Sancho on Twitter.

Having joined from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2021, Sancho has scored 12 goals and provided 6 crucial assists in 82 appearances for the Red Devils.

Manchester United have scored 6 points in the first four stages of the EPL and are in 11th place (5-7 goal difference).
