Romelu Lukaku is not part of Mauricio Pochettino’s plans at Chelsea, so the Belgian striker has been loaned back to Serie A, but not Inter.

“Chelsea” was very active in this transfer period, and this allowed the Londoners to sell players to other European championships as well.

This is also the case of Romelu Lukaku, a footballer who has been left on loan in Serie A again.

If last season the top Belgian played for Inter, then on Thursday the Chelsea player was transferred to Roma, where he will play until the end of this season.

The team coached by Jose Mourinho made the official announcement on Twitter, with the 30-year-old also explaining the reasons why he chose Roma.

“The fans are incredible and the patrons are very ambitious.” Lukaku said.

The contract signed by Lukaku also does not contain a definitive buyout clause, so the €40 million-rated star will return to Chelsea in the summer of 2024.

In his previous Serie A stint (with Inter), the Belgian striker scored 57 goals and provided 18 assists in 97 matches in the top tier of Italian football.

Paulo Dybala and Andrea Belotti are the other strikers Jose Mourinho has included in his squad at the moment. Tammy Abraham and Sardar Azmoun are injured.
