Flushing Meadows No. 30 seed Sorana will face Anna Kalinsky in her third match on Court 5. The Russian is currently ranked 89th in the world and her highest ranking was 51st (September 12, 2022).

Both crossed twice in the circle, while the score was equal. It was 7-5, 6-4 for Anna in Cincinnati in 2020 and 5-7, 6-1, 6-0 for Sorana in Indian Wells in 2022.

The first two games at this arena will feature Miyazaki and Bencic in the women’s category and Jere and Gaston in the men’s.
