Milan – Torino 4-1 / Verona – Roma 2-1, second leg of Serie A

Stefano Pioli’s side got on the scoreboard at the San Siro in just the 33rd minute through Christian Pulisic’s goal, but Torino equalized just three minutes later thanks to Schuurs.

Milan pulled away before the break with goals from Olivier Giroud from the penalty spot in the 43rd minute and Theo Hernandez in the second minute of stoppage time.

Another penalty, realized by the same Giroud in the 65th minute, brought the Rossoneri to first place in the Italian championship.

After a 2-2 home draw with Salernitana in the first leg, Jose Mourinho’s side are yet to win their first game of the season.

Verona opened the scoring after just four minutes through Dudu and Ngonge extended the gap in first-half stoppage time.

Dominating possession, Roma managed to reduce the gap through Algerian Houssem Ouar in the 56th minute, but failed to capitalize on the numerical advantage gained after the sending off of Gien in the 84th minute.
