Romania, a match against France at the Women’s European Volleyball Championship

The match against the French women will take place on Saturday, August 26, in Florence.

The goal set before participation in the European Championship has already been achieved – reaching the 1/8 finals of the final tournament.

Know:

  • The Romanian women’s national volleyball team has qualified for the EC 27 times, with the best result being the bronze medal won at the 1963 competition.
  • The final European tournament will be held from August 15 to September 3 in four countries: Belgium, Italy, Germany and Estonia, and 24 teams will start.
  • Italy became the champion of the title, and Romania took 23rd place in the previous tournament (out of 24 participating teams).
