The youth national team of Romania under the age of 19 won the friendly match, which they played on the road against the national team of Hungary with a score of 3:2, as part of the training camp for the selection for Euro-2024.

The little tricolors led from the 13th minute after Bukovic’s success, but equalized just four minutes later thanks to captain Mario Tudose.

In the 38th minute, the speedy Aleksandru Stan made the score 2-1, but in the 54th minute, the home team equalized again through Atroka.

The winning goal was scored by “Uniri Slobozia” defender Mario Aioanei in the 81st minute.

The pupils, coached by coach Adrian Dulcea, will take part in the Euro 2024 qualifiers in Northern Ireland from October 11 to 17, in a group with the Czech Republic, Finland and San Marino.

The first two places in each group and the best third place will advance to the Elite Tournament.
