Legendary tennis player Serena Williams, winner of 23 Grand Slam tournaments, became a mother for the second time.

Adira River, daughter of Serena Williams

Serena announced it on social networks together with Alexis Ohanian (her husband, co-founder of Reddit), and the girl was named Adira River.

“Welcome my beautiful angel,” Serena wrote on TikTok alongside a video with Olympia, the couple’s other daughter, who will turn 6 on September 1.

“I am grateful to report that our home is full of love: a happy and healthy newborn baby girl and a happy and healthy mother. I feel grateful” – Oleksiy Ohanyan on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

Serena Williams, incredible record

Serena left tennis with an impressive 23 Grand Slam titles. He played his last official match at the US Open-2022.

She was at the top of the WTA rankings for a total of 319 weeks (between 2002-2017), and during her career she collected 73 titles.

Serena Williams finished her career with 858 wins and 156 losses. He collected more than 94 million dollars from tennis prizes alone.

During an exceptional career, Serena collected 23 major titles. One less than Margaret Court, but also one more than the legendary Steffi Graf.

The American won seven times at the Australian Open (2003, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2015, 2017), three times at Roland Garros (2002, 2013, 2015), seven times at Wimbledon (2002, 2003, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2015, 2016) and six times at the US Open (1999, 2002, 2008, 2012, 2013, 2014).

He also won Olympic gold four times: Sydney 2000 (doubles), Beijing 2008 (doubles), London 2012 (singles) and London 2012 (doubles).
