CFR Cluj announced on Tuesday the transfer of Luka Juricic, a striker who played for Pyunik Yerevan, Transylvania’s rivals in the Champions League last season.

Luka Yurichich, transferred to FC Cluj from Pyunik Yerevan.

CFR paid €200,000 for the services of a forward from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“Welcome, Luka Yurychych! Clubs CFR 1907 Cluj and FC Pyunik reached an agreement on the transfer of player Luka Juricic!

The 26-year-old forward joins Gruia after a season spent in Armenia at Pyunik, our former Champions League rivals. Yuricic played 46 games for the team from Yerevan and scored no less than 25 goals!

During his career, Juricic also played in Croatia for HNK Sibenik, in Korea for Gimpo FC and in Bosnia and Herzegovina for NK Siroki Brijeg and FK Željeznicar, scoring 46 matches and scoring 12 goals for the latter.
