On the occasion of Monterey Car Week, which took place a few days ago, the Korean manufacturer presented a new product Limited edition Kia EV6special edition celebrating the 2023 North American SUV of the Year (SUV of the Year) award from NACTOY (North American Car, Truck and Utility Vehicle of the Year).
“With the limited-edition Kia EV6, the North American SUV of the Year, we have created a lasting testament to the extraordinary achievements of the EV6 at this year’s NACTOY 2023”said Stephen Senter, chief operating officer and executive vice president of Kia America.
Kia EV6 Limited Edition: American special series
In January 2023, NACTOY’s jury of 50 automotive experts from the press, digital, radio and audiovisual media was truly recognized for excellence in categories such as automotive innovation, design and value.
The Kia EV6 Limited Edition is distinguished by its style, which is noticeable on the outside with a exclusive color to the model: the deep green color “Deep Forest Green”, decorated with chrome stripes, which pays tribute to the style of classic sports cars. Elements painted in black, such as the wheel arch moldings, side sills or front and rear inserts, complete its exterior design.
Inside is a specific filling in the color “Desert Beige”, completed a exclusive metal platelocated on the center console next to the gear selector, on which we find the inscription “EV6 Limited Edition”, a teaser silhouette of the EV6, as well as two NACTOY “North American 2023 Utility Vehicle of the Year” medallions.
Only 1000 copies
The limited edition Kia EV6 has a Battery 77.4 kWhas well as electric motorization 325 horsepowercombining a 100-horsepower front engine and a 225-horsepower rear engine, they all provide four-wheel drive.
In terms of equipment, there are standard 20-inch light-alloy wheels, a sunroof, a projection display of augmented reality, a panoramic camera, blind spot monitoring, heated rear seats and steering wheel, assistance with avoiding a frontal collision or assistance when driving on the highway.
The limited-edition Kia EV6 will go on sale in late 2023 at prices to be announced later and will be reserved for the United States market only. It will also be produced in limited edition of only 1000 copies.
