Lionel Messi won the League Cup with Inter Miami, and a video of the Argentinian’s success in the final against Nashville went viral on social media.

A fan filmed Messi walking around the center of the field for a minute. The Argentinian watched what was happening around him, and then accelerated, received the ball, went around the opponent and scored with a wonderful shot on the crossbar.

Fafa Pico (’57) equalized for Nashville, and the winner was decided in a penalty shootout.

Lionel Messi converted the first and both teams did not score a penalty (Leal and Ulloa) until it was the goalkeepers’ turn. Drake Callender scored for Inter Miami before deflecting Elliott Panicko’s shot.
