FCSB parted ways with defender Valentin Kretsu

After Malcom Ejuma and Andrej Kordea received transfers abroad, Gigi Bekali announced that his team will also part ways with midfielder Valentin Gheorghe.

Meanwhile, the Reds and Blues have terminated the contract of defender Valentin Kretsu, a player who has been with the team for four years.

The football player’s contract expired at the end of June, but he signed a commitment only until August 31, which was extended if the team made it to the Conference League groups, writes Fanatik.

After being eliminated from the Danes in Nordsjælland, the contract was terminated early.

At the age of 34, Kretsu joined Romanian vice-champion Gaz Metan, and his CV also includes teams such as Rapid, Concordia, Poli Timisoara and Energie Cottbus.

The right-back, valued at 250,000 euros, also has two caps for Romania.
