Al Ittihad paid at least €46.7m for Fabinho from Liverpool this summer and the Brazilian made his debut in Monday night’s clash at Al Raedah.

Abderrazak Hamdalla (min. 58) and Ihor Coronado (min. 73 and min. 79) scored goals for the champions of Saudi Arabia.

Fabinho played 90 minutes in that game and was replaced by Awad Al-Nashri at the end, but his performance was not overlooked.

At the exit from the stadium, Fabinho was met by a journalist, an Al Ittihad fan, who presented him with a Rolex watch.

Stunned by the journalist’s gesture, Fabinho reacted with surprise and even dropped his watch when he wanted to leave. Fortunately for him, the watch was not damaged.
