As reported by DigiSport, Yuriy (28 years old) signed a two-year contract with a group from Azerbaijan, and CFR Cluj will receive 400,000 euros.
“The clubs CFR 1907 Cluj and Neftchi Baku have reached an agreement on the permanent transfer of central defender Juri Matias.
Arriving at CFR Cluj in February 2022, Yuri immediately distinguished himself with his qualities in defense and attack. The announcement comes just a day after CFR Cluj also parted ways with Andrii Burke (the defender will play for Saudi Arabia’s Al Ahdood).
